Remove Horn Pad. With Steering Column Lowered, grab both sides and pull really hard, the pad will flex then pop out of the three mounts. The horn connector will probably pull off as the pad is removed, put a bit of insulation tape on it, just in case. - Remove Steering Wheel : 27mm Socket and a universal joint required.
- Remove Diagnostic Plug Cover : Two thumbscrews on either side, Rear hatch Release button needs to be unplugged to complete removal.
- Remove Front Carpets : Carpets may be attached by plastic fasteners, Carpets have side specific sound proofing underlays beneath them.
- Remove fuse box cover.
